Since this seems to be the place for it I thought I would post a short film I did a while back ago. It was a fun shoot with the goal being to see if someone I had just met would be a good fit for a DP on some other projects I had coming up. I liked how it turned out and it really gave me a lot of freedom to be a director instead of the one man band I had been for a while. Let me know what you think…

This was nice! Really enjoyed cinematography, it looks top-notch! Love the use of the slider, particularly at 2:06 to display the ‘growing rage’ in the character.

The only thing I picked up on was that at 0:59 the sound of rustling the bread bag stopped suddenly when it cut to the next shot, but other than that the audio was spot-on too.

I had no idea where this one was heading, but it surprised me in a morbid way. Never back down on a Jinx. 😉

Thanks! My DP really did a great job bringing what I had written to life with the camera. It definitely changed my feelings on trying to do it all myself. For those who have trouble letting some of the control go when it comes to their films I would recommend doing it. The collaboration was a great process and really made this short better.
